6,600 participants, 6.5 kilometers, a great atmosphere—and right in the thick of it: 15 runners from WEBER Verpackungen!

With pleasant temperatures, we were able to enjoy the course and put in a strong run together. The internal duel at the front added a special element of excitement: Our CEO Carsten was locked in a thrilling race with our Spanish Sales Manager Abdel.
The result? Carsten had to admit defeat—albeit with a heavy heart. At the finish line, the visibly exhausted boss was already greeted by the beaming winner. For this outstanding achievement, Abdel was later presented with the well-deserved “Boss-Beater” T-shirt.
After the run, we wrapped up the evening in a relaxed atmosphere with cold drinks and some refreshments.

Congratulations, Abdel—and above all: Thanks for saving us! Finally, we’re spared the boss’s victory rant 😉
